I know, this seems like something coming directly from Grey’s kitchen or play room, but… It’s an hanger for tagliatelle. Yes, exactly. An hanger.. 😀
Did you guess that?
I had to buy it because i have problems with drying homemade pasta, and i had to throw it twice lately. And i hate to throw food.
I live in Veneto, in pianura padana, which is historically a humid place. This means i have problems with drying things, from laundry to tagliatelle. And while i could think of throwing laundry, the idea of throwing food totally drives me crazy.
To all those italians from veneto who reads this, and makes tagliatelle at home, and dries them perfectly, i’m sorry, but i really don’t know what’s wrong. Maybe it’s because I’m on the ground floor, or because i refuse to use the 00 flour and instead go to the semolina or whole flour. I. Don’t. Know. I even tried to put them in the oven, vented, at 30°C but nothing. They always grow mold or compact together in a way i can’t detach them anymore. I admit my ignorance with drying pasta, and if anyone of you have an advice, please, reply. Please. I need help. This thing scares me, even if allows my tagliatelle to dry.
Anyways, i bought this sort of hanger that should allow tagliatelle to dry correctly, and i want to try it soon. You all know what this means right? We’re gonna make tagliatelle!!! Soon!
