Distance relationships are damn hard.
It takes time to get used to each other every time you get back together, and when you split it takes forever to get used again to be.. well, lonely. I mean, Goldilocks has just left a few hours ago, and my home already sounds to me like an egyptian tomb.
Distance relationship are hard because our brain always wants to find a comfort zone. It tries to find one when you’re alone, and then finds it and struggle when you have to share space. Then suddendly it gets used to share space, and have to try to find its new comfort zone alone again.
All the laughs, the talks, the misunderstandings, and sometimes even the good ol’ fights bring you close, and then you have to be apart again. Even Fufi (for the newcomers, my lovely siamese cat) feels something has changed, and decided to sleep on some clothes Goldilocks left here for her next visit.
But don’t worry, we have a lot of recipes to share that we made during our three months together, and we will. They’re all there and we picked the best, but we decided to post one of them every sunday because we’re naughty and want you to keep visiting us.
I know this might sounds funny, but we always get along with food. As anyone else, we have our differences, and we always level them while cooking something together. Or eating toghether. We’re just two souls, hold tight by a spaghetto with the best sauce you can ever think of.
